Par contre on a eu la mauvaise surprise de rester bloqué à Apollonia car pas de ferry pour raisons météorologiques. On a attendu 6h dans la ville avec nos valises car maria nous assurait « que le prochain arrivait bientôt » avant déclarer forfait à 19h30 et payer une nuit de dernière minute hors de prix car c’est l’île de Milos. Ni Maria, ni Airbnb ne veulent nous dédommager au moins un partie.
J’ai adoré ce logement mais je garde un sentiment un peu amer car si personne n’est directement responsable que faire si logement n’est pas accessible? Surtout que ceci arrive régulièrement d’après ce que les habitants nous ont dit

You could hear the sound of crushing waves at night which was relaxing, we’ve had a quad bike with us and it only took us 5 mins to get to the centre village. There’s plenty of amazing local restaurants and bars in the area. The host Maria was extremely helpful, was responding to my messages instantly. We’ve had some issues with our ferry due to weather and she was making sure we’re always up to date, she arranged a transport for us between the port and the Airbnb. We’ve been given recommendations with regards to the best local restaurants which were actually amazing.

So if you’re still thinking about booking this place, stop thinking and do it before somebody else does!!

We booked last minute (literally the morning of our stay) after our other accommodation was cancelled last minute. Maria and Andreas organised the... read more accommodation to be ready for us within a few hours, they responded instantly and remained easy to contact during our stay.

The accommodation was perfect for us. Right on the sea with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a hire car and there was parking for it nearby. It’s a 20 minute walk the the bottom of Kimolos town. It’s so peaceful, we felt like the only people on the island. We loved laying on the sun loungers at night and staring up at the stars (there is very little light pollution) we even saw a shooting star. I snorkelled every morning in the bay and was lucky enough to see a huge turtle! The best part was waking up early and going out side to watch the sunrise off the rocks, probably one of the best sunrises of our two week island hopping trip. Thank you again Maria and Andreas!

The uniqueness of this place once used by local fishermen as a resting spot between their fishing trips, added an authentic touch at my stay. The tranquility that envelops this place is truly unmatched making it the perfect oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation. The immediate access to the incredible Aegean Sea was a dream come true; I could actually step out of my room and find myself on the edge of the shore! The room’s Aegean style decoration struck a perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. All amenities as described and hosts are professionals.
I am already looking forward to returning to this hidden gem on Kimolos island, where I experienced the beauty of Greece’s beach life at its purest form.
